Entered Juried Competitions: A Juried competition is a competition in which artists' entered works of art are judged by a person or panel of persons convened specifically to comparitively judge the artists' works of art, either by the competition's stated theme or by a subjective set of criteria dependent upon the nature of the competition or the judges themselves. For example, in a juried competition where participants compete against each other for a monetary prize, ribbons for placing, inclusion in a show or publication, or representation by a gallery, the work presented is judged by one or more persons, often experts, for such prize, ribbon, inclusion, or representation. See Most Recent Award. The majority of Jack's works of art have not yet been entered into competition.

Although we are very pleased that our sculptures are being purchased for display in new environments, liberated from static website display, we are challenged by each purchase to fill the void in our inventory left by the departure of the respective sculpture. Due to the fact that all of the artistic craftsmanship necessary to create each sculpture is performed free-hand, without resorting to prefabricated jigs, guides or patterns of any form, no two pieces of our welded sculpture will ever - can ever - be identical.
